Inihaw na Baboy (Grilled Pork Chop)

You could also use pork belly on this recipe. Best paired with toyomansi (spiced vinegar, soy sauce and calamansi) dip.

  • 2 lbs. Pork Chops
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 5 pcs. fresh calamansi, squeezed
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 3 tbsps. banana ketchup
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil or cooking oil
Cooking Procedures:
  1. Marinate the pork in soy sauce, calamansi, garlic, salt and pepper for at least 3 hours or better overnight.
  2. Grill the pork until cooked and brown on both sides.
  3. Save the remaining marinade and mix it with sesame oil and ketchup. Use it as basting sauce, brushing on each side of the pork when almost done.
  4. Serve with toyomansi dip.
